Condo A is the ground floor of the Main House. It has one entrance off Fifth Street and a second entrance into the shared courtyard.
Condo B sits to the right and back a bit from Condo A. It has one entrance off the sidewalk to the right of the front parking and a second entrance into the shared courtyard.
The Main House is up a set of stairs, above Condo A. The first floor of the Main House is living space while the upper floors are the bedrooms.
We now provide linens! The cost is $20 per bed and the beds will be made for you upon your arrival. Our only ask is that you strip the beds when you leave. Bath towels are an additional charge. Please contact us for pricing as it depends on the amount you require.

Condo B sleeps 9 in beds, Condo A sleeps 13 in beds, and the Main House sleeps 16 in beds plus two on a sofa bed. The sofa bed is located in the family room of the Main House. The family room does not have a door.
Bus: The bus terminal is located just a few blocks away between 9th & 10th Streets. You can take the bus to the train station in Atlantic City, or take the bus from Atlantic City into Ocean City.
Train: The closest train station is in Absecon NJ, although if you will be transferring to a bus to come into Ocean City, you must go into Atlantic City.
Airports: The nearest airport is Atlantic City International Airport (about 30 minutes away). Philadelphia International Airport is about 75 minutes away. We can provide you with directions upon request.
You must report any damage to us as soon as reasonably possible. Our property is in excellent condition and we will remedy any damage as soon as reasonably possible.
Yes, within three weeks of the end of your rental, assuming no damage, missing items, lost beach tags, issues with cleanliness, or smoking within a unit. If something is damaged, the cost to repair or replace the item is deducted from the security. The cost of a replacement beach tag is $25. Smoking inside of a unit will result in forfeiture of the security deposit. For under age 25 rentals, the security may be forfeited if guests are repeatedly found on the property. Please see your lease and the guest policy for more information.
It depends on the date and unit(s) rented. Please see your lease or email for details. There is never a cleaning fee for the Main House during the summer.
New for the 2017 rental season – prior to your check in date, you will receive an invoice from The Victoria Inn via Square. This will allow you to use a credit card to pay your security deposit and allow us to refund your security via your credit card. Please note: if you use a debit card, the refund processing time can be up to ten business days after the refund is processed. You will receive a receipt for both the initial transaction as well as the refund transaction.
Credit card deposits are NOT accepted for under age 25 group rentals.
For family or over age 25 rentals, the security deposit is $500 for the Main House, $300 per condo. For under age 25 groups, see the Groups tab.

Yes, please. Paper, cardboard, glass, plastic and aluminum must be placed in the blue recycle trashcans or our trash will not be picked up! If you do not recycle, a $50 charge will be assessed.
Trash is picked up on Thursdays only through mid-June. Please have your trash and recyclables in the back of the house on Wednesday evening through mid-June. Mid-June through Labor Day, trash is picked up on Mondays and Thursdays, so please have your trash and recyclables in the back of the house on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.
Yes, at designated beaches, the closest is at 7th Street. Surfing lessons are available from the surf shops.
Beach tags are required for adults and children ages 12 and older to access the beach in the summer months, through Labor Day. We provide seasonal beach tags that are valid throughout the summer. You may purchase additional tags at a daily rate of $5 or a weekly rate of $10.
Each rental gets two off-street parking spaces. Free street parking is available, but the ease of finding a spot depends on when you rent. The Main House gets the right side of the front driveway, closest to the fence, two spaces one behind the other. Condo A gets the left side of the front driveway, closest to the house, two spaces one behind the other. Condo A parking is closest to the house because of handicap accessibility. Condo B parking is behind the house, access via the alley, the two spaces on the far right side of the parking area, closest to the grills. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE ADDITIONAL SPACES AS THESE ARE FOR OUR FAMILY AND GUESTS!
We will allow a service dog for hearing, sight-impaired, seizure disorders or veterans with PTSD only in Condo A, our handicap-friendly unit. All veterinary records are required as well as a grooming (flea-free) certificate. Pets are not permitted in or around the other units. Bringing a pet onto the property (other than as stated above) will result in immediate termination of the lease NO EXCEPTIONS!!
Yes, Condo A, at street level, beneath the Main House, is handicap- friendly, but not fully ADA handicap accessible. The shower is a roll-in shower with grab bars and there is a grab bar next to the toilet.
Space is available at several locations, just a few blocks from the Inn. Rates depend on the size of the room and the length of time needed.
The maximum number of guests permitted on the property at any time is 50, including caterers, servers, a small band, etc. To have 50 people on the property, you MUST rent all three units. The courtyard has seating space for up to 40, but no dance floor! NO tents may be set up. Large meeting space is available nearby, see below.
The courtyard has seating for 30. Another table can be added to increase the seating to 40.
Yes. We live in the condo above Condo B.
If renting all three units, exclusive use of the courtyard can be guaranteed in advance for one or two days during the week. We occasionally use the courtyard for small gatherings, but we will not use it during your celebration if you provide sufficient advance notice.
Generally, the condos share the courtyard, as the Main House guests have sole use of the wrap-around deck. The guests in the Main House may use the courtyard in the summer only if they also reserve one or both of the condo, or in the low-season if the condos are not rented.

The Main House and Condo A are decorated for the holidays, but Condo B is only partially decorated. We decorate for fall in early October, for Christmas the week after Thanksgiving, and for Easter a couple weeks in advance. We plan to add a “Holiday” tab to our website in the near future!
Yes. Give us a call! We often host small weddings, anniversary celebrations, birthday parties, family reunions, bar and bat mitzvahs, and holiday celebrations.
Not in Ocean City, but in most of the restaurants over the Longport, 9th Street and 34th Street bridges, just a few minutes by car.
Yes, as long as you are over age 21! Circle Liquors is just over the 9th Street Bridge. Boulevard Super Liquors is just over the 34th Street Bridge.

Yes, outside only. For under age 25 group rentals, absolutely no cigar or pipe smoking is permitted on or near the property. Adults with family rentals may smoke cigars or pipes outside only.
Some are open year-round, but basically they operate as per the boardwalk. Some restaurants begin opening the weekend of Palm Sunday for weekends only, but many are not open until sometime in May. Most restaurants are open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day, although weekdays in May and early June may be limited due to staffing issues. Most restaurants remain open daily through early to mid-September and most weekends through October. By November, most restaurants are closed, but a couple dozen do remain open year-round. All but one of the many restaurants “over the bridges” are open year-round.

Each unit has one small closet containing the vacuum, broom, etc. The house was built in 1915 with very few closets, and most are used for owner storage. The bedroom and bathroom doors all have hooks for hanging items. Some bedroom have coat trees, space permitting.
Yes, all units are heated and each floor of the house has its own thermostat. The Main House also has two decorative fireplaces with electric inserts.
Yes, we have central air on the top two floors of the Main House where the bedrooms are located. The first floor of the Main House is air-conditioned with window units (purchased in 2013). Condo A has two-zoned central air. Condo B has new window units (purchased in 2013) in each bedroom and the family room.
Yes, each bathroom has a hair dryer.
Yes. The Main House has a brand new, front-loading, XL capacity W/D on the second floor in an alcove in the Dreamscapes bedroom, and the condos share an exterior W/D. We do not supply laundry detergent. Please bring high efficiency detergent and use only a small amount, as the washers are both front-loading. None of the units are coin operated.
Yes, two fully enclosed outside showers are available from May through the first weekend in October. All units including the owners’ unit share the showers.
Yes, two gas grills shared by all three units are available. We provide the gas and the grill tools. We ask that you keep the grills and surrounding area clean.
Ask us! As many guests rent multiple units, sometimes items get moved from one unit to another. We do our best to return everything to its correct location, but something may occasionally get overlooked. If an item is listed above as available, we have it along with a spare. If something happens to be break, please let us know immediately so it can be replaced.
Yes. Every unit is fully stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, coffee mugs, wine glasses, water pitchers, mixing bowls, serving dishes, pots, pans, baking dishes, grill tools, silverware, serving utensils and other gadgets including a wine opener, can opener, potato peeler, etc. Our guests are always pleasantly surprised by our amenities!
Yes. Each kitchen has a coffee maker (two 12 cup and one 40 cup in the Main House), a toaster, mixer, blender, electric knife, coffee bean grinder, crockpot, and griddle. The Main House and Condo A each have a Keurig.
Yes, the condos have icemakers. The main house has an icemaker with a water and ice dispenser.
Yes. All appliances in both condos are less than three years old. In the main house, the stainless steel GE Adora convection range, microwave and refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser were purchased in May of 2014. The Miele dishwasher is a few years old, but works great!
Yes, just a few blocks away. A booklet will be provided with directions to the larger local stores.
Yes, there are several places nearby who will rent bikes hourly, daily, or weekly.
A minimal amount of space is available. The condos can use a portion of the courtyard for bikes and beach chairs; the main house can use a portion of the front deck, and an area by the exterior showers.
Additional paper products, tissues, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, food storage bags, spices, condiments, all toiletry items, hand soap, high efficiency (he) laundry detergent, and trash bags. Some guests bring night lights.
Each kitchen has dish soap, dishwasher soap, one roll of paper towels, and general cleaning supplies (409, Windex, Bathroom cleaner). Each unit has two trashcans with two bags each, one for trash and one for recyclables. Each bathroom has two rolls of toilet paper and hand soap.
Not really. We are across the street from the Ocean City High School, so no houses or renters are across from us. Of our five immediate neighbors, three do not rent their homes. The entire area between 5th and 6th Streets is non-residential and includes a track and field, high school, tennis courts, park, Ocean City Tabernacle, and other municipal areas.
Not really. The first amusement pier, Wonderland, is at 6th Street, a block south from the Inn. You will occasionally hear a low “whoooo” as kids go down the roller-coaster or enjoy another amusement. Events are sometimes held at the OC High School football field.
The Inn is one long block to the beach and boardwalk, exactly 1/5 of a mile. There is a one-way street that is not a throughway about half of the way to the beach that is rarely used.
Yes, hundreds of books and dozens of games are provided for your enjoyment.
Yes. The Main House has an XBox 360 and about a dozen XBox games. Condos A and B each have a PlayStation II and over a dozen PSII games.
Yes. We have flat screen HDTV/DVD combinations with cable in all family rooms and bedrooms.
Yes. Commercial grade WIFI is available throughout the property.
The original house is a four-floor building. Condo A is the street-level unit beneath the main house. The Main House is the top three floors of the original four-story building, while Condo B is an addition. Condo B does not share any walls with the original building, but is connected via a breezeway leading from the original structure to the courtyard. Condo A and Condo B are just a few steps from each other. You cannot enter any unit directly from another unit. Each unit has a private entrance, so you must go outside to enter one unit from another.
Yes. You may rent one, two or all three units. Many guests rent the Main House and Condo A for groups of 24 to 31 guests, or all three units for up to 40 guests. Some guests rent both condos in order to take advantage of two ground-level units.
Yes, one or two additional guests per unit are permitted with prior approval and a minimal charge.

Yes! Many options are available from 20 minutes to 2.5 hours away. 20 minutes away is Atlantic City with an expansive boardwalk, casinos, and outlet stores; 30 minutes is historic Smithville (http://historicsmithvillenj.com); the Cape May Zoo and Historic Cape May with many Victorian Homes, whale and dolphin watching cruises, lovely shops, restaurants, and antique stores; one hour to Philadelphia; or 2.5 hours to New York City.
Not really. Most things are within walking distance including the beach and boardwalk (one long block), surfing, pirate ship, parasailing, jet-ski riding, water sports, fishing, shopping, miniature golf, amusement piers, water park, tennis courts, shuffleboard, eateries, restaurants and more. A car would be needed for any of the day trips (below), to go to the grocery store (about a mile away), liquor stores (over the bridges) or to go to restaurants serving alcohol.
First Night is Ocean City’s New Year’s Eve Celebration: an extensive family-friendly program of entertainment including inflatables, pony rides, jugglers, magicians, movies, various musicians including The Fabulous Grease Band, the Ocean City Pops Orchestra, mini Broadway productions, and much, much more. First Night concludes with a fireworks display at midnight. Admission buttons are only $15 and available on line at www.firstnightocnj.com. First Night is followed by First Day at the beach featuring a polar bear plunge, a 5K boardwalk run, and First Day Shopping Bargains all day at downtown Asbury Ave.
Yes, OC hosts many events throughout the year. Weekly summer events include Family Nights on the Boardwalk and on Asbury Avenue and a fantastic Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market. Other events include concerts, sand-sculpting contests, a fabulous Easter Egg Hunt with over a hundred thousand eggs, a decorated Hat Parade, the Miss NJ Pageant, Antique Car Shows, Hayrides on the Boardwalk, a Halloween Parade, Christmas shows, celebrations, and horse and carriage rides.

During the summer, check in is at four and check out is at ten. No early check-ins or late check-outs can be accommodated due to our cleaning schedule. In the low season, check in may be earlier and check out may be later, depending on whether the unit is rented the night before check in or the night of check out. Early check-in and late check out cannot be guaranteed more than 24 hours in advance. If you absolutely need a late checkout, we suggest booking an additional night.
We do not have beach chairs. We have a few beach toys and a couple of boogie boards, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Yes. We have two outside showers. They are at the top of the driveway, to the left. They are fully enclosed and have small changing areas.
There’s no need to worry at all! Our most valuable items are securely stowed away – we use the “pretty things” for the pictures! We are 100% kid friendly.

Yes. The Main House receives 10 beach tags and the condos receive 6 each. Children under 12 do not need beach tags. Please note that there is a $25.00 replacement fee per beach tag if any are lost. You must return the beach tags to us prior to your departure.
