Take a step back in time as you relax in our completely renovated home, furnished with beautiful antiques and lovely decorations.  From the expansive, breezy, wicker furnished, wrap-around deck, enter into a spacious foyer and note the beautiful antiques and oak staircase leading to the 7 bedrooms on the 2nd & 3rd third floors. Entertain in the elegant antique furnished living room with ocean views, enjoy drinks at the rich mahogany bar with the ambiance of a European tavern, or watch tv in a cozy family room (with a 32 inch flat screen hdtv) with leather sofas adjacent to a beautiful full bath.  Enjoy family dinners for up to 24 people in the large country kitchen with beautiful cabinetry, Corian counters, and seating for 12 to 14 at the one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted kitchen table! The adjacent tavern-like area seats 4 to 10 at the antique bar and up to 6 more at a folding table we provide for your convenience.  The bedrooms in this home are completely separated from the living areas, so anyone can enjoy quiet time in the privacy of their room.  The second floor has 4 gorgeous bedrooms all with beautiful antique dressers and antique double beds (one has an additional daybed), televisions  (one with cable, two with attached dvd players, one with attached vcr),  & quaint individual sinks. One room has ocean views, and two have views of the giant ferris wheel, beautifully lit at night! The charming full bath has been completely updated and has an antique "Second Class" cruise-liner medicine cabinet in memory of a former owner who was a ship captain! The third floor has 3 more bedrooms, all with cable tv. The first is decorated in a patriotic theme and has a set of bunk beds, a single bed, a queen futon and two antique dressers. The second bedroom, aka the butterfly bedroom, has two double beds, a dresser and a large closet. Wake up to ocean views in your queen size bed in the luxurious master suite which has a stained glass ceiling fan, tv & dvd player, and three lovely antique dressers.  The fabulous, private master bath has a beautiful new tiled shower and pedestal sink, and an  over-sized jacuzzi - perfect for two!  If you're planning a family reunion or other celebration, we have two terrific adjacent condos available.  Several guests have rented the entire property for weddings, civil unions, birthday parties and anniversary celebrations.  We have a lovely, completely enclosed courtyard with seating for about 40 at freshly painted antique wrought iron tables and chairs.   This beautiful area is perfect for outdoor events, with lots of flowers and outdoor lighting.  Our guests liken it to a French cafe!  A lovely 3 bedroom first floor condo (to the right of the main house) is available throughout the year, although in the summer this is a two bedroom unit ~ Click on the Condo B tab for details.  This unit is ideal for people who wish to avoid stairs and who might need a private bath, but the unit is not handicap accessible.  A quaint first floor, 5 bedroom apartment (beneath the main house) is available year-round also ~ Click on the Condo A tab for more info.  Condo A is ideal for families who rent the main house and need extra space for teens and tweens, or families with small children. We are located just one block to the beach, boardwalk, shuffleboard courts and beach volleyball.  We are a half block to the 12 tennis courts - 6 turf, 6 clay.  Note that a nominal fee is charged in the summer until 5:00 p.m.   A skate park is located one block away.  Full pads - elbow, wrist and knee, as well as helmets are required. Very reasonable daily and weekly fees apply.  Stroll our 2 mile boardwalk and find hundreds of shops, eateries (fudge, salt water taffy, ice cream, pizza, funnel cake, french fries, snow cones, popcorn, candy apples and more!), two amusement piers, mini-golf courses, movie theatres, gift shops, souvenirs, clothing stores, jewelry, a lovely Christmas shop, and much, much more.  Nearby, you can rent bikes to ride on the boardwalk.  At the bay, you can participate in many water sports including jet skiing, boating, deep sea fishing, whale and dolphin watching and more!  Within walking distance you will find many restaurants, several of which remain open year-round.  A few blocks away is Asbury Avenue, the shoppping district of OC, with over 100 shops.  On summer Wednesdays, visit a fabulous farmer's market just three blocks from our home.  Once per week is Family Night on Asbury Avenue, and another night during the week is family night on the Boardwalk.  There is so much to do in Ocean City!  If quiet time is what you seek, just relax on our lovely deck amidst lovely hanging baskets, enjoy the ocean breeze, and play one of our many boad games or read one of the many books we have in our collection.  10 Beach tags, two off-street parking spaces and the use of two fully-enclosed showers with dressing rooms are included with your rental.
