Take a step back in time as you relax in our lovingly restored & completely renovated home, furnished with magnificent antiques & lovely decorations. Built circa 1915, the Main House features wide plank hardwood floors, a carved oak staircase, an original stained glass window, elaborate antique oak fireplace with a two-tiered mantle, gorgeous mahogany bar, pocket oak doors, wide trim, & arched doorways. We take great pride in maintaining our gorgeous home in the Victorian style while providing our guests with all modern amenities. Many guests remark about the European flair throughout the Inn as they enjoy our many collections of antique glassware, ceramic figurines, pottery and art.
The Main House is actually the second, third and fourth floors of a 4 story building. The ground-level unit is Condo A, a handicap-friendly 4 bedroom condo that may be rented alone or with the Main House. Up one flight of steps to the Main House is a huge, wrap-around deck with ocean views, gorgeous hanging geraniums and comfortable wicker furniture with seating for eighteen. From the front deck, enter into the breathtaking foyer with beautiful antiques, sparkling crystal and an over-sized brass scale. Through the foyer is the phenomenal kitchen with lovely cabinets & top of the line upgrades including expansive Corian counters & a Miele dishwasher. The handcrafted, country table seats 14 with additional seating in the adjacent bar area. The kitchen has a 32 inch HDTV and is fully stocked with service for 20 and a wide variety of small electrics to make cooking a pleasure! Enjoy drinks at the rich mahogany bar with a two-tiered oak fireplace, 27 inch HDTV, and the ambience of a European tavern. Relax in a Victorian-furnished parlor with 2 gorgeous sofas, a lovely fireplace, spectacular pocket doors and ocean views. Watch the game or your favorite show in our cozy family room with a 42 inch HDTV with cable and DVD.
The pretty bedrooms are located on the top two floors of the house, a floor above the living areas. Each or the seven bedrooms is beautifully furnished and decorated with your comfort in mind; several have ocean views and most have sitting areas. All 4 second floor bedrooms have quaint tooth-brushing sinks and flat screen TV/DVD combinations (no cable, but limited channels). The second floor bedrooms include: Tranquility with a double bed, single brass daybed, highboy dresser and two comfortable arm chairs; Dreamscapes with a queen size bed, dresser, cozy chair and enclosed laundry nook; Memories with unbelievable ocean views, a four-poster queen bed, dresser and two Queen Ann style, wingback chairs; Serenity with a double bed, antique armoire, dresser and arm chair. The third floor features Romance, the master suite with exquisite Victorian dressers, a gorgeous wingback chair, beautiful stained glass ceiling fan, breathtaking ocean views, a full bath, and an oversized Jacuzzi for two; Harmony with two full size beds, a hand-painted “Renoir” dresser and large closet; and Americana with a set of bunks, a double bed and two dressers. All third floor bedrooms have flat screen TV/DVD combinations (no cable, but limited channels). The Main House at the Victoria Inn is perfect for up to 7 couples and children. If more space is needed, our two adjacent condos accommodate up to 21 more guests in 7 additional bedrooms with a lovely courtyard, reminiscent of a French café.
Summer rentals include 10 beach tags, 2 shared gas grills, 2 parking spaces & 2 fully enclosed “outside” showers with dressing rooms, boogie boards, buckets and shovels. The Main House has central air on the top two floors and new, large, window units on the first floor. For winter rentals, the home is heated and has two gorgeous fireplaces, both with electric inserts. We invite you to visit; you will absolutely love it!
