The perfect alternative to impersonal hotels, our lovingly restored Victorian can affordably accommodate up to 40 guests in three adjacent units (14 bedrooms in all), each unit with its own full kitchen and living area. The bridal families and guests will enjoy a weekend with memories to last a lifetime at our lovely beach-block home. Built circa 1915, our stunning Victorian is the ideal place to host your rehearsal dinner, reception and/or post-wedding brunch. Our luxurious master suite has terrific ocean views and a Jacuzzi for two, perfect for the newlyweds. The fully enclosed courtyard, reminiscent of a French Café, with dozens of flowers, hundreds of tiny white lights, a fountain, and freshly painted wrought iron furniture, has seating for 40 and is seasonally available. We can suggest caterers, florists, and a fabulous bakery if desired.
Imagine entering the spacious foyer with spectacular antique cabinets filled with dazzling glassware, the marvelous scale atop the gleaming sideboard, the beautiful chandelier, and the century-old, curved oak staircase: the perfect place for your wedding photos! The gorgeous mahogany wet bar with a mini-frig is ideal for sipping your favorite cocktails and toasting the newlyweds. Enjoy the look and feel of a real fire from our electric fireplace surrounded by a magnificent, antique oak fireplace mantle. The fireplace can be used year-round, as heat from the flames is optional. Enjoy ocean views as you relax in our elegant antique-furnished formal living room with beautifully recovered furniture and stunning, solid oak pocket doors. Our handcrafted kitchen table seats 12 to 14, ideal for the rehearsal dinner.
Our 7 bedroom Main House sleeps 20, but the first floor living area can comfortably host 30 to 40 guests: the hand-made kitchen table seats 14, the bar area has seating for 7, plus a 6 foot folding table if desired, the living room seats 9, and the family room seats 6. The formal living room, bar area and family room are all connected – like a huge living space with three semi-separate rooms. Weather permitting, our wrap-around deck has seating for approximately 10 (possibly more in the spring of 2010). If you need more space, we have two adjacent units available with full kitchens and sleeping for 20 in 7 additional bedrooms.
